This work shows the fusion of two figure studies, giving the painting both movement and stillness. What I find particularly exciting is that I have noticed through feedback that many viewers only perceive one of the silhouettes at first glance. Did you recognize both of them right away?
The colors, which flow through the body in individual combinations, are intended to make the empty silhouette appear particularly lively. I also used luminous pigments in the painting, which I mixed into oil paints myself.
Dieses Bild zeigt die Verschmelzung von zwei Körperstudien, die dem Gemälde sowohl Bewegung als auch Ruhe verleihen. Besonders spannend finde ich, dass ich durch Rückmeldungen mitbekommen habe, dass viele Betrachter auf den ersten Blick nur eine der Silhouetten wahrnehmen. Haben Sie gleich beide erkannt?
Die Farben, die in einzelnen Kombinationen durch den Körper fließen, sollen die leere Silhouette besonders lebhaft erscheinen lassen. Ich habe auf dem Gemälde zudem auch Leuchtpigmente verwendet, die ich selbst zu Ölfarben gemischt habe.
